November 15, 2019 NovaScan, an oncology company based in Chicago and Milwaukee, was awarded first prize in the BioPharma category in the InnoStars competition and third prize in the Innovate Hubei International Tech and Innovation Competition (InnoHubei), both in Wuhan China.
Led by the U.S. China Innovation Alliance, a Houston based non-profit focused on helping U.S. companies penetrate the Chinese market, InnoStars is a national competition. Thousands of companies are screened and hundreds are invited to present in preliminary contests across the United States. The winning companies take an all expense paid trip to China, where they both compete for cash prizes and meet with potential commercialization partners in China.
InnoHubei is a global competition that attracts hundreds of innovative companies from around the world in local competitions on several continents. Winners of these contests are invited to a Grand Final in Wuhan, along with several top companies in InnoStars contest.
