NovaScan Senior Scientist John Shell, Ph.D. has been selected to present in a poster session at a Special Topics Conference on Healthcare Innovations and Point of Care Technologies, co-sponsored by the National Institute of Health and IEEE. Dr. Shell will be presenting the “A Cancer Detection Device Using Multi-tiered Neural Networks for Improved Classification” during the poster session. In the poster and accompanying paper, Dr. Shell demonstrates how a neural network classification system led by assessment of the Cole relaxation frequency was employed by NovaScan to dramatically improve cancer detection in a mammography alternative.
